HELP STOP PUPPY FARMING

NEVER buy a mixed breed dog, ALWAYS get it from a rescue

Mixed breeds include Cava/poo, Cocker/poo, Cava/chon, Labra/doodle, Golden/doodle, Malti/poo., Golden/Irish, Berni/doodle  Most are bred in unregulated puppy farms.  Here the bitches will be bred from once or  (illegally) twice a year.  Even in regulated puppy farms bitches may be bred from every year.  This is not acceptable to the Irish Kennel Club which has strict requirements for pedigree breeds.

(Occasionally an unplanned breeding may occur.  Make sure the breeder has good references from people you know personally and that it is a one-time only breeding.)

DO NOT purchase mixed breed animals, rescue one instead.

ALL PUPPIES, FROM WHATEVER SOURCE, SHOULD HAVE A MICROCHIP AND OWNERSHIP CERTIFICATE

FOLLOW the guidelines below if you choose to buy a pedigree dog.
